Triathalon Second Leg - Bike

The bike section was run similar to a SPIN class. Rather than running at one gear the whole 20 minutes, there was instructor telling us to change the gears through out to simulate hills, etc.

Triathalon first leg - Swim

My goal was to complete at least 400-500 yrds in the 10 min. I surpassed my goal.  There was only one other person who swam as fast as me. My goggles broke right before the race! I worked through it, my turns were affected the most.

Attention swimmers looking for advice

On Sunday is my sprint indoor triathalon.  The swim portion is only 10 minutes. I’ve noticed that my arms(especially my triceps) take some time to warm up.  By the time they warm up that portion of the race will be over.  Any advice how to get ready?

Treadmill ladder workout

Went back to the YMCA with my husband. Hit the treadmill. 2% incline. Four minute warm up gradually working up to 10 min/mile. Then ran 1 mile at 10 min/mile, 1 mile at 9 min/mile, 1 mile at 8 min/mile, 1 mile at 9 min/mile, 1 mile at 10 min mile, 5 minute cool down.
